Sunday ponderings--a study of Ecuadorean leaves

I am always mesmerized by leaves.  The dried up crunchy ones that are adorning our neighborhood right now (more on those back HERE) to the vibrant lush ones we saw in Ecuador.  So I'm sharing some of the pictures I took.

I think these fit in perfectly to Sunday pondering because whenever I examine a leaf, I am in awe of the creation and God's art.  It makes me swell with gratitude.

Here you go.

These curled up ones were my favorites.

I love that bugs love these ones so much.
Why are those particular ones so succulent I wonder?

I love how these ones have mini leaves on the vines:

More least for a bug:
And yes, not really focused on that vibrant green leaf, but the whole plant is pretty marvelous.
We live in a beautiful world.
