Grace's masterpiece video covering our Iceland adventures...

...right here:

Made me tear up as I watched it again just now.

I'll be forever grateful for these videos sweet Grace, and grateful to Elle too who took so much of the footage.  I am one lucky mama.

  2. So glad you enjoyed a little bit of Iceland although the weather could have been better. Believe it or not but this summer was actually so nice compared to the last three summers. We finally had some sun and warm weather, although nothing compared to the desert heat you are used to. Next time you and your family come here I recommend that you travel to the western part of the country and Snæfellsnes, magical places. And since you seem to love waterfalls I recommend that you google the name "Hraunfossar" - most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland in my opinion.
    Best regards,
    Guðrún from Reykjavík, Iceland :)

  3. Thank you for sharing these videos. I've loved watching them. Grace is very good at pulling it all together, her timing is so awesomely matched to the music she selects. Two questions for you...where is she finding music to go along with these videos? She has a very good ear for picking music to fit the mood of the video clips. And second, how are the videos shot? With camera phone or something else? I'm so impressed and inspired! Awesome job, Grace!

  4. Hi! I have been following your blog/instagram for a few years now and I just love you and your family! Thank you for being such a bright light in this blogging world! I also follow your parents and watch their videos on youtube and get such great family advice from them. I have a question and I thought I would see if you have an answer for it. I have a baby boy who just turned one. My husband and I already start to talk about how we will raise our kids and what rules we will have, etc for when they get older. I really don't like video games and have seen the effects it can have on people. I am wondering what you do for video game rules for your family and how you raised a son in a world that has so much of that. I'm also wondering if it's totally naive of me to think that we won't have video games in the house and if that's even a realistic thing in the world we live in. I would love to not have any video games in the house when my kids get older. Luckily my husband doesn't like them either so he doesn't play them. Anyway- I am just wondering how you handled stuff like this with teenagers.

    THANKS so much!
