Grace’s volleyball camp:
My friend organized this neighborhood progressive play-date. These girls (plus a lot more…I think there were 18 of them all together). They made breakfast at one house, made bracelets at another, played games at another, and lunch at another.
At our house we did nails and swimming.
I have taken over the dining table for my house work.
That’s where I stay up all night trying to figure out cabinet configurations lately.
And this is where we have spent the majority of our summer.
…and here too:
Dave’s sister and a friend came for dinner and to visit. These kids always love seeing Carol Lynn.
I ran into my old high school friend at Target:
Grace and her friend threw a surprise party for their friend. It made her day.
Grace took off for her first Girls’ Camp:
And Elle left the day after since she had to be at summer school:
While they were gone these girls and I hung.
And visited the Apple Store to fix my computer which has been a pretty big ordeal I tell you.
And Max worked his little heart out at the new house (back here).
Then the big girls came home refreshed and spiritually rejuvenated.
And exhausted and dirty and happy as can be.
My patriotic teaching-singing partner in church:She sure makes my job fun.
Now we are here:
Soaking up love from cousins in my happy place.
