iPhone apps

iWrite letters app on my iPhone = .99

iWrite numbers app = .99

Dora whatchamacallit show and coloring activity app - 1.99

No screaming from Lu for a whole day of carpools in the car as well as a sudden ability to recognize and trace almost all the letters and numbers = beyond priceless

I don't even care that this means my phone is constantly out of batteries. I'll take it.

Oh how thankful I am for technology.

  1. Lucy is absolutely adorable. I hate to say it, but I love the photos of her crying (that sounds awful to say), but her pout, her eyes shut tight and her wide open mouth, it's just cute. And I'm so jealous of those beautiful, blue eyes.

  4. I'm going to have to try the "tracing" apps. Elsie really likes the Shape Builder App (free version) and the older kids like MadLibs.

  7. I'm Sarah I live in Birmingham in the UK I have a son who will be 9 on Tuesday this week Ryan was diagnosed with Bardet Biedl. It has been quite comforting reading about your story with Lucy. Ryan's sight has deteriorated over the last year this is how we have come to find out. I have always known my child is special but I have had a battled to get to the bottom of what is wrong with my son. He was under genetisists for testing for different disorders when he was just 2 but we were told he was normal. I have to dash now but I will tell you more of my story another time x

  8. This is the one reason we even have an iphone. Our son with autism has a waiting issue (he just doesn't understand it) this has helped so much.

  9. The only thing that is better than seeing her engrossed in learning on the Iphone is that smile when she lifts her head up to signal that she's found or done something wonderful!

I AM JUST GLAD WE DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM.
